Anyone Home?
Hi guys, have been working on a post for a while now and, mainly, it's lateness is due to the fact that I'm a bit of a perfectionist. So I have been spending a while on this other post that I am working on and it's looking like it might take a little longer yet. So in the mean time here is something to keep you amused.

Hello and welcome to my blog about my experiences and my life about coming out to my family, friends and the world at large.
So now, a little about me and my (sad) state of affairs....well lets get the obvious out of the way -- I am gay and in the closet (you could say I'm almost in narnia) and have been in there for far too long. I'm an over worked (aren't we all) university student, currently studying towards a degree in computer science (with mid-year exams creeping ever so closer, gulp!). I currently live and was born in New Zealand. I'm a self-confessed geek, who loves anything Linux. My friends say I'm far too quiet for my own good and, thankfully, some of them encourage me to speak my mind more. Everything else you'll get to know along the way.
So, perhaps I should say a little something as to why I am writing this blog of mine....well, firstly I have bottled up the fact that I am gay for so long, that denial about being gay to everyone else in my life is such an automated response that it has been scaring me for some time. So, I am using this blog as a first (micro) step in coming out to my family and friends.
Secondly, to vent! sorry this will happen occasionally, I'm hoping it won't happen that often, just bare with me when it does. Well, I think that just about covers it.
